]]> The Moon Festival has long been one of the most anticipated occasions of the year, a time when families gather to share warm moments together under the full moon. Beyond Vietnam, the full moon of the eighth lunar month is also celebrated in Korea, Japan and many other Asian countries as a chance to come together and to keep traditional cultural values alive.
At ISPH, Moon Festival 2026 will be a colourful afternoon of lanterns, mooncakes and performances prepared by our students themselves. It is also an opportunity for them to learn more about culture, show their creativity and share the beauty of these traditions with confidence among friends in an international community.
The Moon Festival at ISPH has always been a celebration for the whole community. Families from Vietnam, Korea, Japan and many other countries come together to enjoy the programme and cheer on their children’s performances. Moments like these are how we build a close community, one where every student is known, listened to and valued.

]]> Congratulations to Gia Linh (Year 11) and her teammates on an outstanding First Place win at the NASA Open Data Exploration Camp 2026, recognised for their work in solution design and presentation.
Held over three days at the American Center Hanoi in July, the programme was organised by the STEM Education Promotion Alliance and STEAM For Youth, with support from the U.S. Embassy Hanoi.
There, Gia Linh and her team explored a real issue together, researched and worked with NASA open data, developed a solution and presented their ideas to the panel.
Gia Linh’s family shared that what made them happiest and proudest was not only the award, but the sight of their daughter stepping confidently into a new environment, taking the initiative to work with people she had never met, sharing her ideas and presenting her thinking in front of the panel. For her parents, that was the moment they clearly saw how much she had grown through a new experience.
These are the very learning habits ISPH nurtures every day. Enquiry, collaboration and communication are not shaped in competitions alone, but built through every lesson and every experience at school. That is what allows our students to explore on their own initiative, work alongside others and express their ideas with confidence in unfamiliar settings.

Congratulations to Gia Linh and every member of her team on this proud achievement. Thank you to the teachers who have supported her and made room for her to grow through each new experience.

No child is born knowing how to lead. It is a capacity built gradually through real experiences, matched to each age and stage of development.
At ISPH, students build this capacity by taking on roles within the Student Leadership Team. Last week, students challenged themselves through the Leadership Interview and took part in the House elections, getting ready to step into the new academic year with new responsibilities.

So what does the Student Leadership Team at ISPH actually do? They represent student voice, work alongside staff to organise whole-school activities, and help build a stronger sense of unity and connection across the student community.
Leadership is not something that only shows up on the day results are announced. It is a responsibility carried through the whole academic year, through every decision, every activity, and the small things done each day.

It is also through these experiences that ISPH’s core values become real and relevant to our students. Responsibility means keeping a promise to your House, even during the busiest weeks of the term. Integrity means being willing to admit when a plan hasn’t gone as expected, and working together to improve it. Resilience means continuing to try when results fall short, not giving up, and staying ready to support the team.

This is part of the journey ISPH builds for its students, developing the skills and qualities they need alongside their academic studies.
Because when given the chance to represent the student voice or lead their House through each activity, students come to understand that leadership is not about the title. It is about the responsibility, the action, and the value you create for the people who trust you.

]]> At ISPH, we believe that a strong partnership between school and family is the most important foundation for every child’s growth. That is why Friends of ISPH (FOI) has always played a special role as a bridge connecting parents, students, and the school.
In the very first meeting of the new academic year, parents and the School Leadership Team looked back on the 2025-2026 journey with many proud achievements. The school also introduced new teachers joining ISPH and shared updates on the latest improvements to our school. Clear directions and key focuses for the 2026-2027 academic year were discussed too, with the aim of nurturing students’ all-round development in both academics and personal skills, and providing a learning environment that is modern, diverse and truly inspiring.
A special highlight of this year’s meeting came from two of our Head Students, Lindsey and Tuệ Anh. Speaking candidly about their own learning journeys at ISPH, they gave parents a heartfelt, firsthand look at student life, the kind of insight that only comes from hearing it straight from the students themselves.
Another engaging part of the meeting saw parents ranking ISPH’s 8 Core Values by importance. But the more they discussed, the clearer one thing became: no single value outweighs another. Respect, Celebration, Caring, Passion, Creativity, Responsibility, Equality and Integrity all play an equal part in a child’s growth, and it is the combination of all eight that shapes a well-rounded ISPH student.
The meeting also turned to selecting Parent Representatives, key connectors between families and the school. This role will continue to strengthen bonds, promote community spirit, and support ISPH activities throughout the year.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all parents who joined us this morning, as well as to Lindsey and Tuệ Anh for their inspiring reflections. Your enthusiasm and commitment are what make the ISPH community so special. We look forward to continuing this journey with you and spreading the ISPH spirit throughout the year ahead!

A passion for Business at ISPH took Duc Kien (Year 12) to the Asia Business Simulation (ABS), part of the World Youth Economic Forum (WYEF). At the National Round held in Hanoi in early July, Kien’s team earned a Bronze Medal, securing their place at the 15th Global Finals.

Representing Team 065 AURA in Shanghai, China in late July, Kien and his teammates competed against 66 teams from around the world. In the Operation round, the most demanding stage and the one carrying the highest weighting in the competition, Kien took on the role of CFO, responsible for the simulated company’s key financial decisions throughout the round. The role called for reading data quickly, making decisions under pressure, and holding to a long-term strategy amid the shifts of a simulated market.

Kien’s team finished 1st in Vietnam and 17th overall out of 66 teams. Kien himself was recognised with two individual awards, the Silver Award and the Digital Business Simulation Excellence Award, in recognition of his analytical skill and command of digital business operations.

From a subject he loved in the classroom to a financial leadership role in an international competition, Kien’s journey shows how Business at ISPH translates into practice. Not just theory on paper, but real decisions with real consequences, tested against students from around the world. ]]> Last Friday marked our very first assembly of the new academic year, and what a way to kick things off!

Mr Stuart welcomed our students back with a warm hello and shared his excitement for all the learning, opportunities, challenges and memorable experiences that Academic Year 2026–2027 will bring.
Our four houses, Voi, Rùa, Tê giác and Hổ, went head to head all week, earning points through every activity along the way.

And the very first House Cup of the year went to… Tê giác House!

]]> Following our excellent A-Level results, ISPH is pleased to share another highlight as our 2026 Cambridge International IGCSE results are officially in: a 100% pass rate, 45% at A*-A, 68% at A*-B and 89% of grades at A*-C
This marks the fourth consecutive year ISPH students have sat the IGCSE examinations, and this year’s results reflect a consistent academic foundation built year on year, from a curriculum closely aligned with Cambridge standards to the close support of our teaching staff throughout our Year 11 students’ two-year programme.

These results follow closely on our recent excellent A-Level outcomes, together painting a consistent academic picture for ISPH across both ends of Secondary. They also mark a positive start to the new academic year, with the strength of the school’s academic standards affirmed not by a single cohort, but across the full span of the student journey.
IGCSE requires students to balance multiple subjects while sustaining focus across two years of study. Today’s results are evidence of genuine perseverance, a strong desire to improve and consistent effort from each student, nurtured by a rigorous learning environment and the support of teachers and families alike.

Congratulations to our IGCSE students, and to the teachers and families who have supported them along the way.

ISPH is delighted to celebrate another outstanding set of Cambridge International A-Level results, with a 100% pass rate and 69% of students receiving A*-A grades.
These results represent an excellent achievement for our second graduating A-Level cohort and reflect two years of hard work, determination and commitment from our students, supported throughout by their teachers and families.

The results build on the excellent A-Level outcomes achieved by ISPH students in 2025 and provide further evidence of the consistently strong academic outcomes our students are achieving. As our Sixth Form continues to develop, we are proud to see successive cohorts achieving at such a high level.

This follows a significant year for ISPH, during which the school achieved ISQM Gold accreditation and was recognised as outstanding across all areas. Together, these achievements reflect a school that continues to combine strong academic expectations with the wider development and support of every student.
Most importantly, these results belong to our students.

A-Levels are demanding qualifications, and these results represent countless lessons, assessments, revision sessions, setbacks overcome and moments of perseverance. We are enormously proud of what this cohort has achieved and look forward to seeing them take their next steps at their chosen universities around the world.

Congratulations to the ISPH Class of 2026, and to the teachers and families who have supported them along the way.

]]> “School should be a safe place, but it should not always be a comfortable one, because real growth often begins when we are willing to step outside our comfort zone.”

This was the message our Principal – Mr Stuart Hill shared with students, parents and staff at The Big Welcome event, officially marking the start of academic year 2026-27 at ISPH.
Last Sunday, the ISPH campus came alive as returning students reunited with old friends and new families joined the ISPH community for the first time.

In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, our Principal delivered an inspiring address, reflecting on a proud 2025–26 academic year, celebrating our achievements before looking ahead to the exciting journey ahead.
Yet as Mr Stuart reminded us, the numbers only tell a small part of the ISPH story. What matters most is the growth each student experiences day by day, through the many small moments both inside and outside the classroom.
And now, a new academic year has officially begun!

New friends, new challenges and new opportunities await. ISPH hopes every student will find the courage to step outside their comfort zone and keep growing, one day at a time.

]]> Wrapping up four weeks of Summer Camp 2026, our ISPH campers came together for a memorable Showcase to share their whole journey of learning and discovery!

On stage, students confidently presented the learning projects they had been building for four weeks, the result of hands-on STEM sessions and plenty of creative exploration. They also performed dance and music numbers they had rehearsed with real dedication, along with individual talent performances that brought impressive surprises to the audience.

Every project and every performance on stage reflected a journey of growth our campers built together throughout the summer.

A huge thank you to every camper for bringing so much energy and enthusiasm, and to all the parents who trusted ISPH throughout the summer!
