Paul Antcliffe

Head of Primary

Paul joins ISPH as Head of Primary from August 2022. With more than 15 years experience working in education, including 10 years in leadership positions, Paul’s previous roles include Head of Primary at leading international schools in China and Myanmar, following headship in his native UK.

Paul holds a BA Hons in Philosophy and Politics from Liverpool University and the NPQSL qualification in Senior Leadership. Paul worked as a leadership mentor for the Dulwich College International School Group and retains a keen interest in critical thinking and metacognition.

As a teacher and a leader, Paul believes in enabling others to maximise their potential through helping them to develop new talents, skills and competencies. He believes in the transformational impact of teaching and learning and enjoys helping others to strive and thrive in the world.

Paul is joined in Hanoi by his wife and their two young children, who join our Primary School. As a member of a dual-heritage family, Paul is a keen advocate of global perspectives and multiculturalism. He enjoys immersing himself in the culture and heritage of his host country and so is particularly excited by living and working here in beautiful Vietnam.
