Stephen Weller
Maths Teacher
Steve Weller is Canadian, having grown up in a small town in Ontario, and holds a Bachelor of Science Honours in Economics and Mathematics from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario. Following his degree, Steve completed a Masters of Science in Adolescent Education for Mathematics in Buffalo, New York.
Steve has been teaching Mathematics, Business and Economics for the past 13 years in leading schools around the world, including in his native Canada, and overseas in Egypt, Malaysia, China and Thailand.
Steve believes that Mathematics is the foundational language for every student’s future, opening the door to many different careers and opportunities. He also has a passion for education in business and finance, having previously worked as a stockbroker.
When Steve is not teaching, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, travelling, practicing yoga, running, hiking and playing ice hockey.
