In February, our Year 11 students and parents have attended two special information sessions on UK and US University Entrance. These are introductory sessions intended to give general information ahead of more detail for our Sixth Form after they entered Year 12 next year. Also, they had a chance to visit British Vietnam University (BUV) – one of the best international universities in Vietnam.
On 7th February, Key Stage 4 (Year 10 & Year 11) students and parents had a productive session about UK University Entrance with Mr. Crispin Kendall – our new Head of Sixth Form (from August 2023). Mr Crispin has given us a detailed guideline for studying A-Levels @ ISPH and how to apply to UK universities. Although this process is “time-consuming” and “there are no shortcuts”, our students and parents can rest assured that ISPH teachers are always by their side, monitoring and helping them on the journey ahead.
Then on 8th February, ISPH was pleased to welcome Mr Kien Pham – our University Counselor came to share with parents and students about applying to universities in the US. Students, parents, and even teachers had the opportunity to ask any questions about their concerns when choosing a major, choosing a university in the US, and what it takes to make a successful application process.
Lastly, on 10th February, our year 11 students had a great trip to British University Vietnam (BUV), where they were warmly welcomed by BUV staff, students and teachers. Our year 11 students then had a chance to attend a demo Marketing Management class with Mr Don Hickerson – Lecturer of Business Department at BUV. Our students were interested to learn more about what Branding is and why Branding is important in Marketing. We hope that our students had an enjoyable day experiencing university life at one of the most prestigious international universities in Vietnam.
