ISPH student makes history at the 2025 International STEM Olympiad

Congratulations to Tran Duc Tri (Michael), Year 10T, on an outstanding achievement at the 2025 International STEM Olympiad!
Michael secured 1st place in Science and 2nd place in Computer Science, becoming the highest-ranking Vietnamese student in the five years Vietnam has participated in the competition. This is not only a proud moment for him personally, but also a great source of encouragement for the entire ISPH community.
The 2025 International STEM Olympiad marked its fifth edition, attracting more than 500 students from 117 countries and territories around the world. The Grand Final took place in Spain, bringing together representatives from 36 countries. The competition places strong emphasis on interdisciplinary knowledge, creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills across Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Michael’s results demonstrate both his academic depth and his ability to excel on a global stage.
At ISPH, Michael is known not only for his passion for science, self-motivation and commitment to learning, but also for being actively involved in extracurricular activities. He is also a dedicated member of the school band, showing his creativity and enthusiasm beyond the classroom. His achievement is the result of consistent effort, curiosity and a willingness to challenge himself across many areas.
