Safeguarding

At ISPH, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring that every student in our care feels safe, supported, and valued. Safeguarding underpins all aspects of school life – from classroom learning to pastoral care – and guides every decision we make.

Our Commitment

The International School @ ParkCity Hanoi believes that Safeguarding and Child Protection is the shared responsibility of all members of our school community. Every adult on campus  teaching staff, administrative staff, service providers, and volunteers  has an important role to play in keeping our students safe.

We adopt a whole-school approach to safeguarding that promotes the wellbeing of every child and ensures that our policies and practices reflect international best practice as well as compliance with Vietnamese law.

Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

ISPH has a dedicated Safeguarding (Inclusion) Team, led by the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Mr Lewis.

This team meets weekly to monitor, review, and respond to any concerns related to student wellbeing, mental health, or safety. The team’s focus is on proactive support, early intervention, and continuous improvement of safeguarding standards across the school.

Training and Accountability

  • All members of the Safeguarding Team are trained to an advanced level in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Every other staff member receives annual safeguarding training to ensure awareness of procedures, signs of concern, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Visitors and external providers are also briefed on safeguarding expectations when on site.

Policies and Procedures

Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy (last updated August 2025) outlines the comprehensive framework of safeguarding arrangements and procedures at ISPH. It details how we identify, report, and manage concerns, as well as the responsibilities of all staff members in ensuring student safety.

Safeguarding Posters and Reporting Tools

Safeguarding posters are displayed in every classroom and key area throughout the school.

Each poster includes:

  • QR codes linking to our policy.
  • A trilingual anonymous reporting form (English, Vietnamese, and Korean).
  • The wellbeing@isph.edu.vn email hotline, connecting directly to the Safeguarding (Inclusion) Team

These tools enable students, parents, and staff to report concerns quickly and confidentially.
