At the IGCSE and A Level Certificate Presentation Ceremony held on 4 December, ISPH was honoured to hear sincere and heartfelt reflections from Mr Nguyen Phu Hoang Lan, a university lecturer and the parent of Nguyen Trinh Hai An, who achieved outstanding results in the IGCSE 2025 examinations with 7 A* and 3 A.
Mr Hoang Lan is not only a long standing lecturer in Mathematics, but also one of the pioneers in introducing the A Level programme to several schools in Vietnam. With extensive teaching experience and first hand involvement in researching the curriculum, he has a deep understanding of the rigour and the strong value of the IGCSE and A Level pathways.
In his speech, Mr Hoang Lan emphasised:
“ISPH does not only offer an international academic programme, but also creates a rich ecosystem of opportunities from workshops and academic competitions to leadership programmes and personalised guidance. These experiences help students build strong profiles and apply with confidence to leading universities around the world.”
What makes him most proud is not only his daughter’s academic results, but also her growth in responsibility and her spirit of contribution. Hai An is currently involved in teaching STEM to younger students at school and runs online Chemistry classes for students across different provinces.
Mr Hoang Lan also highly appreciated the supportive and low pressure learning environment at ISPH:
“The school fosters balanced development, enabling students to grow not only academically but also emotionally and socially.”
The ceremony was an opportunity to recognise the dedication and commitment of our teachers, the strong partnership with parents, and the perseverance and resilience shown by our students. ISPH is proud to play a role in building a strong academic foundation and serving as a springboard that empowers students to step confidently into university life and the future ahead.
