Ms. Qiu Xiaorong (Sharon)

Ms. Xiaorong Qiu (Sharon) is an experienced Mandarin teacher from China with nine years of teaching experience in Mandarin and primary mathematics. As part of a Chinese government-sponsored international education program, she spent two years teaching Mandarin to students from diverse cultural backgrounds in Cambodia.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychology. She believes that understanding students’ individual needs and building positive teacher–student relationships are key to helping them learn effectively, develop confidence, and reach their full potential. She also believes that learning should be active, meaningful, and closely connected to the real world.
Xiaorong enjoys learning new languages and is currently working towards becoming fluent in Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys Chinese calligraphy, dancing, playing the violin, reading, and outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming. She loves exploring different cultures and believes that language is a wonderful way to connect people from around the world.
