Tom Adams

Primary Teacher


Tom is rejoining ISPH as a primary teacher after previously spending three fantastic years at the school. As well as the three years teaching at ISPH, Tom has taught at BIS Hanoi for four years and six years in public primary schools in his hometown of Middlesbrough in the UK. During his thirteen years of teaching, he has gained different leadership experiences, including being the subject leader in Maths, Art, Geography, History, Music and PE. His passion for teaching and learning shines through in Tom’s classroom and he is a big believer in collaborative learning.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from the University of Derby and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Northumbria University. He has also completed a Masters in Education (MEd) in Leading in Education from Liverpool Hope University.

Outside of teaching, Tom’s interests include spending time with his family – his wife, 4 year old son and baby daughter. He also loves playing and watching sport and has a passion for music and playing the guitar.
