Ms. Maria Jenkins
Creative Arts Teacher (Appointed from the Academic Year 2025-2026)

Maria Jenkins brings over three decades of artistic and educational expertise to ISPH, inspiring creativity across all age groups. Trained in Art and Design education in the UK, Maria holds a BA (Hons) in Photography from the West Surrey College of Art and Design and a PGCE from Liverpool John Moores University.
Throughout her career, Maria has taught a broad range of artistic disciplines—from printmaking and ceramics to digital media—across primary and secondary levels. Her international journey spans leadership and teaching roles at prestigious schools such as Dulwich College in London and Singapore, Dulwich International College Phuket, and most recently, Chiangmai Varee International School and ISPH Hanoi. Her role in multiple start-up schools has strengthened her passion for curriculum development and creative flexibility.
Maria is deeply committed to nurturing individual expression, independence, and critical thinking through the arts. Whether she’s working with a Year 1 student or guiding senior learners, she brings warmth, humor, and a student-centered approach to every class. As a longtime Form Tutor, she is known for her strong, supportive relationships with students, families, and colleagues alike.
Outside the classroom, Maria enjoys immersing herself in the arts, traveling, and life in the Portuguese countryside. Her experience, artistic versatility, and love for education make her a valued mentor and an inspiring presence within the ISPH community.
