Mr. Andrew Mark Morris
Mathematics Teacher
(Appointed from the Academic Year 2026–2027)
Andrew, originally from Wales, brings more than 30 years of international teaching experience in mathematics education to ISPH. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics and Topographic Science from the University of Swansea, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Secondary Mathematics. Throughout his distinguished career, Andrew has taught in leading international schools across Indonesia, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, China, Uzbekistan, Myanmar, and Georgia, delivering programmes including Cambridge IGCSE, A Level Maths and Further Maths, and the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
Andrew is passionate about education because he believes mathematics equips students with resilience, confidence, and analytical thinking skills that support success both inside and outside the classroom. He chose to join ISPH because of its welcoming international community, student-centred approach, and commitment to high-quality education. At ISPH, Andrew teaches Secondary Mathematics, where he focuses on helping students develop deep conceptual understanding, independence, and confidence in problem-solving.
Beyond the classroom, Andrew enjoys an active and adventurous lifestyle. He has a strong passion for sports and outdoor activities and holds coaching qualifications in several sports, including squash, badminton, rugby, and cricket. Over the years, he has also contributed extensively to extracurricular programmes such as chess clubs, Duke of Edinburgh activities, and outdoor education trips. In his free time, Andrew enjoys hiking, travelling, playing squash, and exploring different cultures around the world.
