Ms. Trisha Jeanette Law

Mathematics Teacher
(Appointed from the Academic Year 2026–2027)


Trisha has worked in education for over 9 years. She was born in southern Ontario, Canada and went to school at the University of Windsor for Concurrent [Honours] Mathematics and Statistics where she completed her BMaths [Honours] and BEd with two minors in history- modern and ancient civilizations. Since becoming a professional teacher, she has also completed Specialists in English Language Learners and Special Education, as well as, other additional qualifications such as Teaching LGBTQ+ Youth and Teaching Students with Communication Needs (ASD).
Trisha taught at her University during her degrees as a lab assistant, tutor, and teaching assistant. Professionally, she has taught for 2 years in the UK and for 7 years in Hanoi, as a Mathematics teacher for grades 6-12 (years 7-13), with 4.5 years as a Head of Department.
Trisha has a passion for developing inclusive environments for staff and students, believing that everyone should have the proper tools to learn and thrive in school. She has presented various workshops with staff and students around identity, Multi language learners, and Special Education- with a focus on Neurodivergence. In her classroom, Mathematics is established as the language of the Universe and the lessons are ways to delve deeper into topics and elements and see connections all around us- questions and curiosity are highly encouraged.
In her personal life, Trisha is passionate about food, photography, culture, and travelling. She enjoys delving deep into culture, language, history, and identity and brings this appreciation into her teaching.
